11-14-07: We have just completed our server box upgrade! Now we are using a brand new server with dual quad-core Xeons at 2.66Ghz x 8 processors and 8GB of RAM. You must download a new patch to connect to this new box. Simply right click on: this link and choose "Save target as.." or "Save link as.." and then save the l2.ini into your Lineage II\System folder, overwrite the l2.ini that's there. Now you're set and can connect to the new server computer.

11-06-08: Players of L2Moscow, you will be pleased to know that I have already paid the down payment for our new server box for the next 6 months. Server datacenter has notified me that the new server would be ready by Saturday. Thus, players should expect a simple, small patch released by the weekend to connect to the new server (New server box will have a new IP, therefore new patch is required). The new server box will be a drastic upgrade from our current server and should eliminate any lag.

Originally I planned to upgrade server files to Interlude BEFORE upgrading hardware, but circumstances has come up to delay the software files upgrade, and thus, not liking to upgrade 2 things at once, I've decided to go ahead and upgrade the server hardware right now (a hardware upgrade is due anyway, I should have upgraded sooner). The transition from old server to new server should be relatively easy for me to do. As for you, all you need to do is to look for a patch here - a single updated l2.ini to put into your system folder - and then you can play. After things get settled down with the new server migration we'll begin the upgrade to new server versions Chaotic Throne 2. With server hardware powerful enough to back anything up, I can make the upgrade more comfortably (ie don't have to cut out stuff in server code to optimize performance).

12-22-07: We have officially and permanently moved our IRC home to ToxinIRC. For people that do not know, IRC is an online chat room program that allows the people of our server to talk together. It is recommended you join our IRC channel for the most up to date and current information and updates and talk with fellow players. You can visit the webpage of the new IRC server at www.toxinirc.com and use their webchat to join our channel #L2Moscow.
Or you can download an IRC client (better way to IRC) such as Excursion IRC
and then joining the server and channel.
To join our IRC server first type: /server irc.toxinirc.com this will connect you
to the IRC server.
Then to join our channel just type: /j #L2Moscow. 
To get a nickname for yourself on IRC just type: /nick desirednamehere.
